About The Yorkshire and Humberside Family Business Awards

Organised and run by The Family Business Community, the 2025 awards will be held on Friday 21st November 2025 at the prestigious Royal Armouries Hall in Leeds. This event is a fantastic opportunity for us to come together with family businesses from all sectors and industries to honour their hard work and dedication.

Co-hosting the awards, alongside Sue Howorth and Dave Clarkson, will be Nigel Barden, the renowned food and drink broadcaster and writer. With his extensive experience on shows like Simon Mayo’s Drivetime on Greatest Hits Radio, and his role as Chairman of Judges for The Great Taste Awards, Nigel is an expert at promoting British ingredients and artisan producers. He also hosts Tom Kerridge’s ‘Pub in the Park’ festivals.
